Installation Guide

At Mila, every product is crafted with precision and premium finishes to deliver lasting performance and elegance. Proper installation and regular care are essential to maintain the beauty and functionality of your fittings.

Before Installation

  • Carefully inspect the product for any visible damage, scratches, or missing parts before installation.
  • Do not install damaged products.
  • Mila shall not be liable for damages caused due to mishandling, scratches, or improper installation.
  • Installation must always be carried out by a trained and authorised technician.

Installation Precautions

  • Ensure the recommended water pressure is maintained between 2.5 to 3 bar for optimal performance.
  • Improper installation automatically voids the product warranty.
  • The warranty does not cover issues arising from:
    • Low or excessive water pressure
    • Impurities or excessive hardness in water
    • Normal wear and tear
    • Improper handling, maintenance, or cleaning

Protection During Installation

  • In coastal regions or areas with high salt content in the air, chrome surfaces may react with atmospheric conditions, resulting in black spots or surface marks.
  • During installation or ongoing construction work, keep the fittings covered using the protective cloth or polythene provided in the packaging until actual use begins.
  • Avoid exposing the products to cement dust, paint, acidic cleaners, or harsh chemicals during installation.

Cleaning & Care Instructions

Regular cleaning helps preserve the finish and performance of your fittings.

  •  Routine Cleaning
    • Clean the products gently at regular intervals using a soft, dry, or damp cloth.
    • Pay special attention to edges and corners where scale deposits are more likely to accumulate.
    • Avoid using abrasive pads, steel wool, harsh chemicals, or coarse cleaning powders.
  • Water Quality
    • Due to minerals and salts present in water, scaling may form if the products are not cleaned regularly.
    • For best performance and hygiene, the recommended water hardness should not exceed 300–400 ppm.
  • During Bathroom Cleaning
    • Acidic floor or tile cleaners release fumes that may react with chrome-plated surfaces and lead to black spots or greenish discoloration.
    • Always cover faucets and showers with a soft cloth before using acidic or chemical cleaning agents nearby.
Note: In case of any manufacturing defect, MILA CARE reserves the right to inspect the product through an authorised technician and decide on repair or replacement, either free of charge or on a chargeable basis, depending on the nature of the issue.
