Hand Showers

A hand shower is a handheld showerhead connected to a flexible hose, giving you control over where the water goes instead of a fixed overhead spray. It's the more practical choice for washing hair, rinsing the shower enclosure, bathing kids or pets, or just directing water exactly where you need it, which is why most Indian bathrooms have one alongside or instead of a fixed overhead shower.

Every MILA hand shower is built on an ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) body, a lightweight, rust-proof plastic that holds up well in a constantly wet environment without adding weight to the hand while you're holding it through a shower. Each model carries a 1.5-year warranty and comes as a complete set, hose, wall bracket, and installation kit included.

Single function or multi function

MILA's hand showers come in two categories, and the right one depends on how you actually shower.

Single function models deliver one steady, full-coverage spray. They're simpler, tend to cost less, and suit anyone who wants a reliable rinse without extra settings to think about.

Multi function models switch between several spray patterns, rain, mist, massage, or a mixed spray, at the turn of a button or by flipping the head. Several multi-function models also include a built-in filter that reduces impurities in the water before it reaches your skin and hair, worth considering if your area has hard or heavily chlorinated water.

What to check before buying

Finish. Chrome is the standard, easy-to-clean option. MILA also offers Chrome and Copper, Matt Black, and Matt White finishes if you want the hand shower to match a darker or more contemporary fixture palette elsewhere in the bathroom.

Filter or no filter. If your water tends to carry sediment or a strong chlorine smell, a filtered model is worth the small premium. If your water is already clean, a non-filtered model does the job without the extra maintenance of replacing a filter cartridge.

Hose length. MILA hand showers ship with a 1.5-metre hose, enough reach for most standard shower enclosures without feeling restrictive.

Number of spray modes. More modes aren't automatically better. If you'll only ever use one setting, a single-function model is less to maintain and one less thing that can eventually wear out.
